With a tone reminiscent of Sabbath's noothgrsuh/coffins album, it's only new vocalist Dino Sommese's of fellow Bay Area legends such as Dystopia and Asunder hateful howl that drags this track screaming out of the 70's retro vibe, through the filth of the vintage 90s sludge sound, and into the miserable new millenium. I was talking to Noothgrush guitarist Russ before the band's show in Hamburg, and he told me that Uchino from Coffins had mentioned to him the possibility of touring together when both bands played noothgrussh/coffins inaugral Heavy Days In Doom Town festival a couple of days previously. Terry Hope Romero hot damn this is a perfect Noothgrush intro, plus Coffins brutally wraps this shit up. Yazz Ahmed guests and we feature "The Music of" tribute to French musical legends. Coffins themselves are known fans of their tourmates, having covered Noothgrush on their 'Sewage Sludgecore Treatment' EP, and demented band mastermind Uchino has churned out a couple of perfectly putrid tracks which fit perfectly alongside the noothgrush/coffine sludge of Noothgrush's side.
